Austin Air Products
Air Purifiers – Austin Air Systems builds a variety of portable air purifiers that come in a range of colors and sizes. Most of their purification units offer 360 degrees of air intake and filtration. Austin Air also offers various stages of filtration in each device so that air must pass through pre-filtration parts prior to active filtration with a True Medical grade HEPA filter.
Austin Air has created air purifiers specifically designed for individuals suffering from respiratory symptoms due to indoor air pollutants. The HealthMate series features air purifiers that filter 250 cubic feet of air every minute and pass it through 15 pounds of activated carbon (the Environmental Protection agency recommends passing air through a minimum of 17 grams of activated carbon for it to be effective) before passing it through 60 square feet of medical grade HEPA filters.
Austin Air also has air purifiers designed for allergy sufferers, babies, and pet owners. Each of the air purifiers is designed to remove the types and sizes of particles causing problems for each specified group of individuals.
Austin Air claims that each of its air purifiers filters out smoke, mold, mildew, fungi, common allergens, germs, bacteria, viruses, chemicals, gases, and odors.
